    Solid Oak Door lining kits are manufactured in a range of different sizes and are sold including loose stop lats so that you can fit them to any door thickness. These beautiful oak linings really compliment our oak internal doors and are a great way to create a quality door opening.

      Our solid oak internal door lining kits are an excellent addition to any traditional or contemporary home. They are perfect to pair with a timber door and give elements of charm and luxury within your home. The natural grain of the solid timber lengths exude elegance and character and made a fantastic feature for those looking to spruce up their room.

      Within each Oak internal door lining kits you will receive:

      • 2 x 2.1m Legs
      • 1 x 1.05m Head
      • Loose stop Lats to set your own rebate depth (32mm x 14mm)

      The linings are a universal fit, so that you can fit them to any size door opening up to 2.1m high x 1.05m wide

      OAK INTERNAL DOOR LINING SIZE OPTIONS

      The oak internal door lining kits are available in the following widths: –

      • 108mm – Normally used for stud wall using 75mm studwork + plasterboard/plaster
      • 132mm – Normally used for stud wall using 100mm studwork + plasterboard/plaster
      • 150mm – Normally used single course brick walls, with plasterwork

      Our product is solid oak and so can be trimmed to whatever thickness you require.  If you require thicker door linings then we can often help by using some of our wider PSE boards supplied together with stop lats.

      FINISH

      Heritage manufacture these linings in house from a high grade of solid oak.  We start with lengths of oak at around 1.0 – 1.5 metres long, and fingerjoint these together to get the correct overall length needed.  Each lining will come packaged with complete installation instructions. We recommend Treatex Oil for finishing solid oak. This is available to purchase on our website.

      SPECIFICATION

      • Knots -can be up to 50mm in Diameter. These will be left unfilled unless they are more than 10mm Deep. If they are more than 10mm they will be filled
      • Grubworm holes are allowed up to 50mm long and 10mm Deep
      • Breakout and rough patches are allowed as long as they are no more than 2mm deep and cover less than 20% of the face
      • A maximum of 30% of the face is allowed to contain sapwood
      • Pinworm, burn marks, blue stain, machine marks and rotten timber will not be present in this product
